Vinyl Replacement Window Three(3) Year Limited Labor & Ten(10) Year Glass Breakage Warranty
Vinyl Designs, Inc. will repair defects that may arise with the new windows installed by Vinyl Designs Inc. that was a direct result of faulty or incomplete installation of the vinyl windows at no cost to the original purchaser of the vinyl windows for 3 (Three) years as long as the original purchaser owns the home as his or her primary residence.
Any claims for defects under this warranty must be submitted in writing to Vinyl Designs Inc. at 5433 Stationers Way, Sacramento, CA 95842, within the warranty period and promptly after discovery of the claim defect, describing the defect and a picture of the defect. If after inspection, Vinyl Designs, Inc. determines that the claim is valid in accordance with the terms of this warranty, Vinyl Designs Inc. agrees, at its sole option, to repair, refinish or replaceonly the window or part of window affected by any faulty or incomplete installation. The oligation of Vinyl Designs Inc. under this warranty shall be performed only by persons designated and compensated by Vinyl Designs, Inc. for that purpose and is subjected to all other provisions of this warranty.
The original warranty period shall not be extended by any such work performed, but the remaining warranty time period shall continue in effect and be applicable under the terms and conditions of this warranty to the warranty work performed. Vinyl Designs, Inc. reserves the right to discontinue or change any window or window part as manufactured. If the window or window part originally installed is not available and Vinyl Designs, Inc. determines it needs to be replaced, Vinyl Designs Inc. shall have the right to substitute a window or part designated by Vinyl Designs Inc. to be of equal quality.
Vinyl Designs, Inc. does not warranty the window or window part for manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover any other damages, including but not limited to, normal weathering, oxidation, acts of god, fire, flood, and wind, wind blown objects, chemical pollutants, mildew, structural defects, negligent maintenance or abuse. This warranty does not cover any installation defects caused by the condition of the existing surface prior to the installation of the window or window part.
The warranty shall remain in effect only if normal cleaning practices and maintenance of exterior caulking is performed. This warranty shall be null and void if the windows, window part or area surrounding the window has been physically altered by anyone other than persons authorized by Vinyl Designs, Inc. or if harmful cleaning compunds are used.
Glass Breakage: For the first 10 years of the warranty Vinyl Designs, Inc. will replace up to three glass units free if the glass is broken for any reason. This warranty applies to all vinyl windows installed by Vinyl Designs Inc. except tempered glass, obscure glass or special shaped windows, glass units not installed by Vinyl Designs Inc. and I.G units installed without vinyl frame, and glass units that have been altered by any coatings or heat barriers not installed by Vinyl Designs, Inc.
The provisions of htis warranty are full and complete.
This warranty is only for services that have been paid in full.
