History

Stephen Kuhlke started Vinyl Designs in San Antonio Texas in May of 1985. Our main focus was replacement vinyl siding. In 1989, due to the oil industry and the savings and loan crash, Vinyl Designs moved its operation from Texas to Sacramento California.

Growth

In 1992 Vinyl Designs incorporated and became the exclusive replacement siding and window contractor the the late Home Base store chain. This association allowed Vinyl Designs to quickly grow and over the next 19 years Vinyl Designs has completed projects from Los Angeles, California to Seattle, Washington and from Reno, Nevada to San Francisco, California. We have grown to be one of the top 100 remodeling contractor’s nationwide according to “The Replacement Magazine”.

Vinyl Designs Today

Now Vinyl Designs not only supplies and installs the best insulated vinyl siding in the country, Preservation Siding by Associated Materials, we are also one of the largest vinyl replacement window contractors. Our extensive window line includes our exclusive “Prestige” windows custom manufactured by Amerimax Building Products as well as Ply Gem, Alside, R-Lang, Superior and Milgard’s full lines of replacement windows.

In the past 10 years Vinyl Designs has added two new product lines. The first of these is our “Prestige” patio covers. These beautiful additions to any back yard make our customers more comfortable and are maintenance free. The second is our new fiberglass entry doors. Studies have shown that an enhanced entryway can add up to $24,000.00 to the perceived value of your home.

Vinyl Designs is constantly researching the market and training our staff to ensure our customers that we will provide to them the best possible products combined with the best service, installation and follow up possible.
